Maintaining a positive attitude during challenging times is a measure of faith when you are in the midst of difficult circumstances.
This is partially true because some people tend to think that if the universe loves us we will experience love in the form of positive circumstances.
As adults we sometimes want the universe to be our wise parent, who knows what our soul needs to thrive better than we do.
Just as a young child does not benefit from getting everything she/he wants, you also benefit more when you are required to push through the rough spots, which, accelerates the learning opportunity.
When you keep this in mind, and continue to trust that you are loved even though things are difficult, it helps you to persevere through the rough spots with grace and humility.
It is the rough spots that teach you the most.
Keeping that in mind will help you to feel less alone knowing that you are not the only one.
There many energy forces and changes pulsing through the universe at every level, and, it goes without saying, we are all part of the growing process and the growing pains.
When you remember that life is one phase after another and that each difficult time will inevitably give way to something new and different, the tight squeeze (rough spot) is less onerous.
When you feel overwhelmed you can comfort yourself with the wise saying.
"This too shall pass.
" If you truly believe that there are many things out of sync, it is a good idea to examine your situation to see if there are some changes you need to make to alleviate the steep climb.
Gently and compassionately explore the areas giving you the most difficulty.
This examination will undoubtedly reveal things that you are holding onto and need to release.
Such as: unprocessed emotions, unresolved issues, or negative feedback you give yourself.
If you take responsibility for the things you can change, you will more easily surrender to the things you can't.
Remember that this phase will, without doubt, evolve (shall pass) into another.
